Quiz Meet is a Bible Quizzing program aimed at encouraging youth in grades 7-12 to memorize God's Word in a fun and competitive atmosphere. Our schedule for memorization will cover 15 New Testament books over an 8-year cycle which follows the World Bible Quizzing Association with exception to the book of Philemon.
Still confused with what Bible Quizzing is? Well, think of Jeopardy, with teams. And instead of using your thumb to get the ability to answer the question, you jump off of your seat. It's incredible how Bible Quizzing drives youth to memorize the Word of God and the best part is, they're doing it because they want to!
Not every quizzer wants to memorize full material and that's okay! There are three different study schedules that each quizzer can decide to do based on the commitment that they'd like to give it. They can choose between: Club 150, Club 300, or Full Material.
Churches meet each week, with their quizzers, to review and compete on the material that they had memorized. Throughout the quizzing year there are Quiz Meet Weekends where all of the quizzers come together & compete against quizzers from other churches.
Quiz Meet Weekends are an amazing way for quizzers to get together with others who share the same desire and passion; to memorize the Word of God. There are also social events & worship time where they can deepen their friendship with God as well as with others.
Quiz Meet is a ministry of UB David & I'LL B Jonathan and is interdenominational in scope. It encourages young people to systematically memorize God's Word as well as providing a fun competitive way to recite it each week among their friends. The impact of quizzing does not stop at the quizzer as many quizzers actively serve in ministries inside and outside the church. We believe the impact that Bible quizzing has in their lives will go on forever because of the power there is in the Word of God and it's transforming power in the lives of individuals.
